Lisa Spiwak

Lisa Spiwak was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She graduated from Pacific Palisades High School in 1979 and attended one of the Claremont Colleges, Pitzer College. There she majored in Business and Sociology and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1983.

Upon graduation from Pitzer College, Lisa was accepted at Southwestern University School of Law. She spent a portion of her law school education at the University of London in London, England studying international trade and finance and received her Juris Doctorate degree from Southwestern in 1986.

After practicing as a commercial litigation attorney for five years, she met Nick Iezza in early 1992, and they started Spiwak & Iezza, LLP. During the formation of Spiwak & Iezza, Lisa applied and was accepted into the Temporary Judge Program through the Los Angeles Municipal Court. Lisa completed the course work and received certification for completion of the training course for temporary judge work. Between 1992 and 1998, Lisa sat on the bench of the Los Angeles Small Claims Courts as a Judge Pro Tem.

Since 1992, Lisa has headed up Spiwak and Iezza, LLP. Her firm has become a leading California law firm for commercial collection litigation. They represent large multi-national corporations and represent them in the collection of their commercial debt.

Lisa is married and has three children. Lisa and her family have a passion for travel and have traveled extensively worldwide. She is also passionate about animals and is an accomplished equestrian. Her and her family live on a small ranch in Ventura County.
